Fall 2010 Contributions

Beginning the Fall 2010 semester as the team leader for ANC Control, I taught new members Larry Lin and Roy Guarecuco about the project and set up our lab space to begin research. Shortly thereafter the team decided to discontinue lime feeder research due to the availability of PAC which consumes far less alkalinity than alum. I have spent the majority of the semester creating a final report and detailed MathCAD worksheet for the ANC team so that any future team members who wish to continue the research can have a well-organized starting point and can pick up where we left off.

Partway through the semester I joined the Chemical Dose Controller team and worked on the design and construction of the new system while I continued work on the ANC final report.
