Accomplishments

• Attempted to run tube flocculator by siphoning water out with a vacuum pump
• Met with Alissa to discuss wiki organization
• Met with Ian to discuss tube flocculator configuration and method to measure turbidity/ settling velocity after flocculation
• Worked on teach- in presentation and wiki page

Outcomes

• After discussion with Ian, team will possibly use FReTA at the WFP

Issues

• not enough pressure from vacuum pump to run tube flocculator
• soft tubing pinches
• air bubbles stuck in tube flocculator, possibly gassing out from raw water
• pilot plant system cannot be run until sed tanks are sealed or blocked off
