To keep the AguaClara Project Space organized and productive, here are a few guidelines to follow:
- Always put tools away after you are done using them and before you leave the lab
- Place stools under the workstations before you leave
- Collapse the keyboard and monitor back into the workstation to keep the isles clean
- Make sure tools are dry and clean before putting away
- Keep your experimental things on your lab workstation and off of the floor
- If your team needs more storage space you can talk to the TA about a storage cabinet
- Keep liquids as far away from electronics as possible. Avoid placing tubing and pumps directly above electronics.
- Label your experimental apparatus and any chemicals on your bench with the chemical name, NetID, and date
- Wash your dishes and put them away when they are dry
- Wear lab safety glasses at all times in the project lab
- Always wear closed-toed shoes
- Only consume food and drink in the design lab space
Please be conscious and courteous in the lab project space as this is a shared space for our teams to work in!
