John has worked to test the initial prototype that was provided from last spring.  Upon finding some flaws with the design he redesigned the probe and tested successfully multiple time.  
His current goals are obtaining video of the effects of the probe on the settled sediment and working to reduce fluidization due to the probe.  This is important so that we can see the blanket without pushing it away from the probe.
