We defined what the problem is that Aguaclara is having with the calcium hypochlorite system. That calcium carbonate is precipitating out when the calcium hypochlorite is added to water, which in turn is clogging the flow control system. We plan to contact John in Honduras and get a detailed description of the problem and what they have attempted to do to solve it. We discussed the research that was done this summer. By next Thursday our goals are to contact John and to research ways to solve the problem.
