You may need to build new camera systems throughout the semester if more teams want to use this technology. The camera systems are composed of 4 main parts:

  1. Camera and camera accessories
    1. Camera
    2. Power supply
    3. Cable to connect camera to computer
    4. Lens and lens mounting hardware
  2. LED light and accessories
    1. LED light
    2. Power supply
    3. Potentiometer to control light intensity
  3. Mounting hardware
    1. 80-20 for the base
    2. Translation stage for fine adjustment
    3. Sliding 80-20 mounts for coarse adjustment
    4. Connectors
  4. Flow cell

    1. Glass flow cells are made by David Wise (dpw4@cornell.edu) in B66 Olin Hall

    2. Email David Wise with a picture of the 1 cm flow cells currently being used and mention Casey Garland or Cristina Fernandez-Baca when you email. Additionally, send the following description of the flow cell:
"Modifying a glass cuvette with addition of 10 mm OD glass tubing added to either end to create a flow through system (flow cell) to a total length of 110 mm."

For specific part numbers and prices for items see Camera Parts in the AguaClara Drive. This will also give you a more detailed description of what each item is used for.
