Accomplishments

• Pre-project assessment (motives, objectives, approaches and feasibility, etc.)
• Found and studied a relevant paper on application of Fluent
• Went through Fluent tutorial roughly
• Understood the targeted problem

Outcomes

• Need to assess the effectiveness and feasibility of computational vs. experimental approach (consult faculty and CFD team members; do literature research)
• Need to decide, based on the assessment above, whether to create computational simulations or/and to build physical models

Issues

• Difficult to assess the scope and feasibility of the project without previous experience in CFD simulation or Fluent software
• To discuss with faculty and CFD team members
