Accomplishments

• Run three groups of simulations with single bend:
• 1st order with convergence criteria of e-3
• 2nd order with convergence criteria of e-6
• Computed from 1st order with e-3 to 2nd order with e-6

Metrics

Outcomes

• Obtain preliminary results from 1st order with convergence criteria of e-3;
• Analysis of the convergence problem in the respects of approximation orders and convergence criteria;

Issues

• 2nd order solver doesn't converge: need to vary the approximation order, convergence criteria and mesh(more refined/coarse) to investigate the cause of the problem
• Need to monitor the regional residual
