Goals

  1. Revise and perfect mathcad code developed from fall 2007.
  2. Construct a trial automated flow control device.
  3. Test the device to determine efficacy.
  4. Compare results with those expected from mathcad and make necessary code changes.
  5. Experiment with the trial device until the experimental results match the predictions.
  6. Publish scientific paper (and Wiki) on automated flow control device.

My initial estimation for building and installation of the entrance tank where too ambitious. It took me much longer to get the entrance tank installed and the pilot plant modified to accomodate the new entrance tank. I hope to make up for the time loss by running 4 tests per week after spring break.
