Workday planning and estimating workshop concludes

The three day workshop concluded with many action items and issues to address, more clarity on the remediation and integration impact of Workday, but few detailed estimates. Read all the notes concerning the outcome.

We're planning a three day workshop to determine the effort required for integrating Workday for October 5-7, 2011. This is pivotal moment in refining the cost estimates, tasks, dependencies and the definition of 'done' for the project.

Workday executive summary material posted.

The slides with context diagrams, risks, and estimates, and the supporting spreadsheets used for estimates that were presented to Ted are now available. Find them all here in the Executive Summary.

CIT Discovery effort - hours spent? 1800 hours

Wondering about the hours logged to date? Here's the report from the IS Activity System.  That report doesn't include Assistant Director or non IS CIT work, which would put the total over 1800 hours.

Estimates? Timelines? Resources? Where are they?

If you are looking for estimates, timelines, resource commitments or plans look no more. At this time they aren't in this space. They will be released once Ted Dodds gives his approval.

The space has been opened up to the Cornell community.  The space has documents and diagrams concerning the technical point of view of the impact to Cornell systems of the deployment of Workday for Cornell.
