Security of buildings: if buildings are not secure, ADA compliant, or access is not managed appropriately, risk of physical or psychological harm to property and occupants could occur and may result in lawsuits that expose the University to reputational harm and economic loss.

Student room keys are locked in key drawers or cabinets within the locked Service Centers. Only professional team members, student managers, and supervisors can access and sign-out these keys. When a key is loaned, it is documented in StarRez, and the student completes a loaner key agreement form. Temporary building access cards from Housing are kept in a binder within the locked Service Center. Keys and cards are audited once a day and Housing does a spot-check audit throughout the month and monitors the usage via StarRez.

Members of Greek system are provided annual training around hazing prevention. Leadership of the Student Organizations are required to acknowledge a series of university policies, procedures, guidelines, and the Code of Conduct and must affirmatively attest to reviewing the materials and agreeing to comply during the annual registration process. Materials are provided and attestations are tracked through Campus Groups. Professional business fraternities and Acapella groups may voluntarily attend Greek hazing session. Incident reports are received online (Campus Kaizen Guardian or ethics hotline) or in person. Reports through Ethics hotline can be made anonymously. Reports are investigated and resolved through the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards through alternative dispute resolutions or hearings by university board.
