The Library Data Platform (LDP) reporting database includes 3 software components that are updated on a regular basis.
General Strategy
As new LDP software components are developed, they are deployed first to the LDP Test reporting database. Once the new software is deployed, the Reporting Team tests it. If there are problems, they are submitted to EBSCO hosting services for resolution. Once the new LDP software
New LDP software is deployed to LDP Test
- LDP Test and LDP Production software is not updated at the same time the FOLIO application servers are updated (FOLIO Test, FOLIO Training, FOLIO Production).
Reporting Team tests the software updates on LDP Test
- If problems are found, Reporting Team works with hosting service provider to resolve them
Once the software updates on LDP Test pass testing, the same versions of the software updates are deployed to LDP Production reporting database
