Background: Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Kedougou (antigenic formula 1,13,23: i: l,w,) is a serovar of the O:13 (G) group.

Animal Reservoir: Salmonella Kedougou was found on chicken and turkey. 

Geographical distribution: Salmonella Jerusalem has been reported in Europe, the United States and Thailand.
