Create a new agreement attached to a package

(Via the eHoldings app / create the agreement from within the package) 

Preconditions

  • Minimum permissions: eHoldings: Can edit providers, packages, titles detail records; Agreements: Search & view agreements

Steps

  1. Go to the eHoldings app
  2. Click on the packages toggle in the Search & filter pane: search for and select a package by clicking on it

  3. Scroll to the Agreements accordion in the package record and click New button

    2. A new window – "New agreement" – will open
  4. Fill in at least the required fields (marked with asterisk)

    2. Name, status, and start date are required
  5. Click "save & close": blue button in the bottom right-hand corner

Expected Result

Newly created agreement is attached to package - You will need to return to eHoldings to verify.


Attach a package to an existing Agreement


Preconditions
  • Minimum permissions: eHoldings: Can edit providers, packages, titles detail records; Agreements: Search & view agreements

Steps

  1. Go to the eHoldings app
  2. Click on the Packages toggle in the Search & filter panel
  3. Search for a package, and select it by clicking on it

  4. Go to "Agreements" accordion
  5. Click "add" button

  6. Search for and select an agreement

  7. The agreement will be attached to the package

To view an Agreement from an eHoldings package record

Steps

  1. Go to the eHoldings app
  2. Click on the Packages toggle in the Search & filter panel
  3. Search for a package, and select it by clicking on it

  4. Go to "Agreements" accordion

  5. If an agreement is attached to the package, you can click on it to view the agreement.

Create an agreement and attach a title in a package

Preconditions

  • Minimum permissions: eHoldings: Can edit providers, packages, titles detail records; Agreements: Search & view agreements; Find Agreement Plugin: Search agreements

Steps

  1. Go to the eHoldings app
  2. Click on the Titles toggle in the Search & filter panel
  3. Search for a title, and select it by clicking on it

  4. Under the Packages accordion, select a package by clicking on it

  5. Under the Agreements accordion, click Add
  6. Search for and select an Agreement

  7. The agreement will be attached to the title record within the package

Remove an Agreement

Steps

  1. Go to the eHoldings app
  2. Click on the Titles toggle in the Search & filter panel
  3. Search for a title, and select it by clicking on it

  4. Under the Packages accordion, select a package by clicking on it

  5. Under the Agreements accordion, click the trash can icon that appears on the same row as the Agreement name

  6. In the "Unassign an agreement from this record" popup, click Unassign
