Add or edit custom coverage to a package

Preconditions

  • Minimum permission assigned: eHoldings: Can edit providers, packages, titles detail records


Steps

  1. Go to the eHoldings app
  2. Search for a package in the Search & filter pane with the Packages toggle selected.
    1. Set Selection status filter to Selected.
    2. Select package by clicking on it. 
  3. Open Actions menu dropdown and select Edit. 
  4. Add/edit coverage settings: 
    1. Expand the Coverage setting accordion midway down the record. 
    2. Adjust start and end date. 
  5. Click blue "Save and close" button in the bottom right-hand corner. 
  6. You can delete the coverage dates by clicking on the trash can icon next to the start and end dates.



Add or Edit custom coverage to a title; add a coverage statement

Preconditions

  • Minimum permission assigned: eHoldings: Can edit providers, packages, titles detail records

Steps

  1. Go to the eHoldings app
  2. Search for a title in the Search and filter pane with the Titles toggle selected
  3. Choose a title record by clicking on it
  4. Under the Packages accordion, choose a package that is selected:custom coverage dates for title records can only be added by choosing a title from within a package

  5. Go to the blue Actions menu dropdown and choose Edit
  6. Add custom coverage:
    1. Click "Add date range" button and the Custom coverage dates radio button will be checked
    2. Enter at least a start date
  7. Click the blue Save & close button
  • To add a Coverage statement, select the Coverage statement radio button and enter text in the text box. Click Save & close
