Scope: Preliminary records are created for books where no cataloging copy is found in Voyager or OCLC. Items for unit libraries for which LTS does the processing are assigned to a storage code for that unit. O/K/U items are assigned to a storage code for the broad language category in which the item is written. Below is a list of the storage codes for both the unit libraries, and O/K/U storages, with the languages that fall into each.

When an inputter is unsure to what storage category a particular item should be assigned, or is handling an item in a language not specified on the charts below, a supervisor should be consulted.
