To add or edit “Tools” you need access to the “Intranet” database.

This shows the tool on the "Master List".

 

 

Easiest way I have found to find a tool to edit or find a unique tool ID to add.

Open SQLDev

Open aad_intranet_prod

 

 

To add a tool, click the add button in the indicated menu. Then add the information in all the fields, you will need to find out the next “TOOL_ID” by scanning the rows with the “admin” designation in the “TOOL_OWNER” field.

To create a new tool, you will need 3 pieces of information.

  • Title of tool
  • Description
  • URL

 

Find a number by sorting by “TOOL_OWNER” and “TOOL_ID” to find a number for the new tool.

To edit a tool, find the tool to be edited and enter the new information, in this case it’s the URL. Click out of the field and a box should appear around the row number and the commit button becomes active. To finish, you must click on the commit button.

To delete a tool, there are 2 options to remove a tool. If you would like to remove it from the master list, just remove
