Chemistry IT has created a different Operating System Deployment ( OSD ) script than the College of Arts and Sciences in order to meet specific department needs. Furthermore, as of 7/20/2017, the College of Arts and Sciences IT staff have not documented the contents of their OSD script.
The creation of the Chemistry OSD is not free, as department IT staff have to update the script as the Windows images provided by CIT change.
Please also note that the College of Arts and Sciences has stopped allowing for Windows 7 deployments via OSD, which does require Chemistry IT to do that work already. CIT still is providing updated Windows 7 OS images for now - with no guarantee on when that will stop.
