Via web of Quest, can find UniqueID. Or, use a Mac connected to CU AD.

Full Unique ID number useful?

The full number for <oh10> is: 0cc1c7c1-6a0d-41c8-9b63-6ec5589d9225

This breaks down as follows:

  • 6a0d => 27149
  • 41c8 => 16840
  • 9b63 => 39779

Method 1

Via web, go to:

Enter NetID in search box at upper-right.

Click on "Object" in Menu listing shown.

Grab first number grouped under "Object GUID:"

  • For <oh10>, this is: 0cc1c7c1

Convert from HEX to Decimal:

Use Quest, look up NetID from top-level of tree.

As above, grab first number group under "objectGUID".

  • It seems incorrectly typed as "OctetString", instead of HEX (?!)
  • For <oh10>, this is: 0cc1c7c1

Use a Mac connected to CU AD.

Use Directory Utility. Look for "UniqueID" and it just gives you the first part of the full numbers shown with the above 2 methods.
