Fall 2016 : Rapid Mix Contact Chamber Team

My goal this semester is to help the "Rapid mix team" is to asses the utility of a contact chamber in reducing the nanocluster loss to the flocculator walls. The coagulant properties and the variation in the coagulant attachment with the changing diameter were studied.  Also I plan on trying to find out what limits the deposition of particles on the inside of a flocculator tube.

Spring 2017: StaRs Filtration Theory

This semester, along with two members, I worked on developing a mathematical model to explain the physics behind filtration. I performed a lot of literature review and used my documentation and report writing skills to complete the paper. Also worked on Mathcad to develop a mathematical model in arriving at the geometry.
