For more information, see AMREMM (Gregory A. Pass, Descriptive Cataloging of Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, and Early Modern Manuscripts. Chicago : Association of College and Research Libraries, 2002). For Cornell RMC purposes, we include notes on the script and the provenance of the item, even though they are not mandatory for summary-level records.
