Promoted by the Obama Administration and medical community as a bold new research effort to revolutionize how we improve health and treat disease, precision medicine customizes healthcare, with medical decisions, practices, and/or products being tailored to the individual patient. We are looking for highly motivated students to quantify the direct and indirect power consumption to support precision medicine. The responsibilities include, but not limited to, conducting literature reviews, collect energy usage data, and estimate system-wide power consumption, and write a final report.
