Objective: To identify strategies to improve the energy efficiency and utilization in commercial-scale datacenters
Background: We are working with a leading U.S. telecommunication company to develop a new corporate strategy to managing the energy systems in its datacenters.
Scope of Work: MEng students will work with PhD students to review the current practice in datacenter energy management, analyze/model the datacenter energy systems, and seek a game changing improvement in the company’s current approach to datacenter operation.
