Software: Renewals and support changes

ChemDraw:

  • Renew now, by the August expiration.
  • A new version was released mid-May, and you are not required to upgrade.
  • CambridgeSoft is dropping support for certain platforms, including older Windows and Mac systems. For example, 32-bit Windows.

Matlab:

Other software license renewals:

  • Look in your inbox for renewal notices as they arrive for:
    • Matlab, Mathematica, and LabView.

IT service changes and reminders

Wireless service: Use eduroam. No longer use “RedRover”.

The eduroam service also works for many academic visitors here, and for you when you travel.

A new Cornell wireless “Guest” service has recently been added.

CU Blogs: Fee structure announced by CIT, along with expiration of themes.

ChemIT: Use our on-line form to request service from ChemIT. It's easy and fast!
