AguaClara Engineers
Student members of the AguaClara team at Cornell are eligible to apply for 3 month to 2 year field assignments to assist with training and capacity building, technology implementation, performance documentation, and dissemination. This program will likely grow as demand for the AguaClara technology picks up and the number of implementation partners multiplies. The 1 year and 2 year terms run from summer to summer with a goal of maintaining project continuity with some overlap with the current AguaClara Engineers. The AguaClara Engineers are hired through our in-country partner organization and are paid volunteer wages designed to cover all expenses. Some language proficiency is required and language skills will be developed with short, intensive language training in-country.
