Info mostly for ChemIT staff, due to security restrictions on the tools used. Procedure is useful in situations where an instrument computer in 10-space must temporarily be given full internet access (for vendor access, say).
- Find system's IP address. Use ChemIT inventory, CU AD, or go to the machine itself:
- R:\Chem IT\Inventory\Inventory auto

- How to find your computer's MAC address (and IP address)
- Go to DNS DB to change the IP address. Ensure no IP number conflicts (in last number) as you change the first number from or to "10". Use links at:
