The Hernandez Research Group has a variety of M.Eng projects related to orthopaedics and microbiology. Projects include image processing and analysis, finite element modeling, microfluidic device design and simple microbiology experimentation. Projects suitable for students with any of the following skill sets/interests:

* Computer programming (non-computer science major level or higher)
* Finite Element Modeling
* Micro/nanofabrication
* Basic Microbiology Cell Culture

Hernandez Research Group Pre-Med M.Eng Project

The Hernandez Research Group has a one semester project for a student with basic understanding of Matlab programming. The one semester project involves simulating osteoporosis drug treatments and is ideal for a pre-medical student with introductory Matlab programming experience.
