How can you tell if an account is not restricted (and thus can be used for purchases not eligible to restricted fund accounts)?
- Restricted funds are governed by federal regulations, such as described in the A21 Regulation.

University-wide, looking at an account's "Sub group code" indicates if an account is restricted or not. That requires looking it up in Kuali, or the like.
