ChemBioDraw licensing reminders

As of 7/3/13:

  1. You must renew your ChemBioDraw license to continue using the software, and this is technologically enforced. Thus, you must renew it to keep the software running.
  2. A single license will cover you for all the computers for which the individual is the primary user. The faculty member's single license covers the faculty member's computer as well as all the group's common shared computers. If the faculty member provides you a computer and you are the primary user of the computer, you have to purchase a license as you are not covered by the faculty member's license.
  3. Each and every user needs to purchase their own license on their own. We in ChemIT can't purchase it for you.
  4. If you are a faculty member or lecturer who wants the instructional budget to pay for the license for you, please talk to the Chemistry Business Office for the appropriate account number. Note that you will still need to place the order yourself.
  5. If you are a graduate student, postdoc, research associate, etc. please work with your faculty member and/or the Chemistry Business Office to determine the appropriate account number if not required to purchase it with you own personal funds.
