Students must be taking SYSEN 5100 Applied Systems Engineering (Cross-listed as MAE 5910, etc.). Will work closely with FSAE team members and Prof. George to implement formal “Product Life-Cycle Management” (PLM) with the Cornell FSAE team. PLM uses commercial software to archive, track, and schedule all aspects of product requirements, design, development, etc. including text, CAD, test results, etc. This will involve researching PLM usage for small organizations and using and evaluating the Autodesk ‘Vault’ software during the product development year of the FSAE team, (FSAE team membership optional but must work very closely with FSAE team)
