1. From the Edit Class view of the course you wish to clone select Clone Class. this will
open the Clone Class window (3.2).
2. In section B, (3.2), fill in all the relevant data for the new class you wish to create, mak-
ing sure to select a valid semester.

Note: Selecting the "Include Cross-Listing Information" check box will copy all the cross
listings established for your original course.

3. Section C (3.2), lists all of the items currently linked to the course you are coping. By
default, when a valid semester is selected, all items in this section will be selected to be
copied. You may at this time unselect any item you do not want to be copied over to the
   new course.
4. From the main menu bar click on Clone Class & Items. The system will copy the
current class and all the selected items over to your newly created course, if selected, or
copy the selected items over to an existing course.

Note: When a course is copied, the documents on the server are also copied. This is
to insure that if the old course is removed the links for the new course are not broken. If the
documents for a course have already been removed from the server as part of a regular cleanup
process the items will move automatically to the "Awaiting Reserves Processing" queue.
