Biographical Statement:
Salam Abdus joined Cornell University as a lecturer in the fall of 2007. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Minnesota in June 2007. His primary research interest is in health economics and applied econometrics. In his dissertation, Salam Abdus worked on the economics of obesity. He is particularly interested in policy analysis in the field of health economics.
