Completed scanning and loading of 2000 photographs into Luna and multiple historical documents into E-Commons.  Steve working with David Block to complete front-end website.  David Block & Elaine working on promotion (Chronicle article).  Still would like to pursue additional grant opportunities to expand collaborative community working with the people in Vicos.  Low-bar possibility- load photographs into Flickr to see what sort of social tagging might come from Vicosinos.

Huntington Free Library Digitization

In-house digitization project to scan monograph material from HFL Collection with a focus on language. Funding provided by Sarah Thomas (40 k).

DLXS

Scanning, metadata creation, and qc taking place spring-summer 09.  Anticipate scanning upwards of 120 books total to be loaded into DLXS.  Ideally would seek additional funds to continue digitization. 

Bolivian Pamphlets

40k pages digitized from unique Bolivian Pamphlet Collection provided by David Block.
