Accomplishments

• Went to Cornell Water Treatment Plant and did overview of pilot plant and functions
• Went over Pilot Plant Quiz
• Made preliminary designs for new baffle system and timeline to accomplish

Outcomes

• Design one baffle for each of the proposed new baffle systems
• Evaluate each baffle designed based on cost, ease of construction, and practicality
• Produce baffle system of best design

Issues

• Only building one baffle of each, but when we build the new system we may need funding
• Do we have the materials currently to build new baffles?
• We're testing different designs individually however so we don't end up wasting money on a design that we later decide is not the best
• Flocculation tank is not in the best shape. Will need to strengthen the middle channel's walls
