- This will be done by running both sedimentation tanks until a floc blanket forms.

- To establish whether or not the there is minimum required tank depth below the lamella for blanket formation.
- Determine how close the blanket can get to what the optimal relationship is between the floc blanket and the bottom of lamella before performance is affected.
- If a sludge blanket cannot be formed with the current tank configuration: 1) what is the minimum height needed and 2) how short can the lamella (vertical distance) before they are ineffective.
