Bio to be addedBurgess leads the Bodleian Digital Library Systems and Services team of 40 staff and is responsible for the Bodleian’s portfolio of digital services supporting 22,000 students and 11,000 researchers. These include SOLO (Search Oxford Libraries Online), the Oxford Research Archive www.ora.ox.ac.uk (Oxford’s institutional repository), scholarly communications support, research data management, digital preservation, digitisation programmes and digital scholarship. Lucie is a member of the Management Board of the Oxford e-Research Centre, and is a member of Oxford University’s IT Committee and Digital Strategy committee. From 2007-2014 Lucie worked at the British Library, where as Head of Strategy and Planning she led the development of the British Library’s 2020 Vision.  From 1998 to 2007, Lucie worked in a variety of publishing, business development and strategy roles at United Business Media, a FTSE-250 publishing and information company. She has a Master’s degree in Physics from Hertford College, University of Oxford.
