In this video, we show you how to find the mass and center of mass of the blade in ANSYS. These values will be are used for the hand calculation of root radial force.

1. Click on the solution information report.
2. Press Control-F to open the search field and search for total mass.
3. You can also find the center of mass right below it. 

We can now compare the numerical results of root radial force with our hand-calculations. 

As you can see, the results are very close.
