I am a member of the SRSF Theory team. We plan on are redesigning the filter apparatus so that it better represents the Stacked Rapid Sand Filter. Several issues in designing the experimental apparatus include keeping influent turbidity constant and reducing coagulant loss. We will test methods in order to later collect data that will eventually culminate in a model of SRSF performance.
