This summer I was a member of the SRSF Theory team. We will conduct research on I researched the different variables that cause clogging of the subsurface injection filter as well as measure measured the effect on effluent turbidity and head loss. The stacked rapid sand filter was compared to the conventional downflow rapid sand filter.
Fall 2013 Contributions
I am a member of the SRSF Theory team. We plan on redesigning the filter apparatus so that it better represents the Stacked Rapid Sand Filter. We will test methods in order to later collect data that will eventually culminate in a model of SRSF performance.
