We understand that some laboratory users may only use office space or computer facilities in laboratories and may not intend to use chemicals. However, these students are in the laboratory space and are potentially exposed to chemicals and thus must receive the training.
All users of the Engineering laboratories and shops must receive the Chemical Safety for Laboratory Workers training. You can do this most easily at http://www.blackboard.cornell.edu/. After logging in, select

Register for all EH&S Training (both classroom & on-line activities) via CU Learn: 

  •          Students (includes underclassmen, graduate and Post-Doctoral)

Access my.cornell.edu

On the Welcome page, click on the red \[Login\] button and enter your Cornell

NetID and Password (if applicable)

Click on the "IT Resources" tab to open the page

Open the folder: "Training"

Click on: "CU Learn"

Click on "Self-Service"

Select: Search Catalog

On the "Search Catalog" page, type in the Search Catalog box: Laboratory Safety

to display a list of courses

      Scroll down the list to:
              EHS-Laboratory Safety (2555-Laboratory)    Web-based Training
