In this tutorial the initial ANSYS Geometry and Mechanical Files are provided. Download the Workbench files by clicking here. Unzip the files and load them into ANSYS Workbench.  The default units in Workbench are Metric, so go to the top menu bar, select "Units" and change from Metric to U.S.Customary.
