Our team is working on finalizing the design of the point-of-use foam filtration unit. By the end of the semester, we hope to have concrete dimensions and parameters for every component within our system. Additionally, we will eventually fabricate and test our designed unit.
Head Loss Calculations
Research from fall 2010 was continued in hopes of determining the head loss through foam as a function of filter run time. We were also interested in determining the head loss at filter collapse.
