In As part of the Fall 2008 project work AguaClara is working on designing the AguaClara team designed a water treatment plant with shallower tanks that doesn't need an elevated platform for the plant operator. The full scale pilot facility for this new design will be built in Cuatro Comunidades: was built for the four communities of Los Bayos, Rio Frio, Aldea Bonito and Las Jaguas. Finances

This project is was funded in part by CESAL, Alianza para el Agua some private donations, and of course the community! Cuatro Comunidades has committed to contributing contributed approximately $9,000 toward the project in local materials and construction work.
