The Cuatro Communidades design was smaller than other recent designs completedis the smallest design for the water treatment plant completed by the AguaClara Team. Single width sedimentation tanks were used for the design, and were made to be shallower than previous designs. This plant will be the first plant to include the sedimentation tank slopes (a.k.a. inlet manifold), an exit channel, and a hopper for the floc blanket. Details of the design can be found below.
