Master Program

The Master Program is the driver of the automated design program. It is the central file where values are inputted, functions are called, and parameters are returned and displayed. The Master Program calls the functions written by the Hydraulic Design, Unit Processes, and AutoCAD Teams. These individual programs are used to determine the designs on the plant and specific parameters are outputted so the user can understand the design and the AutoCAD Programs can draw the designed plant.

Although work is in progress to incorporate LabVIEW as the tool to allow access of our program to the end user, right now the master program is the main page for the design team to test and develop the automated design program.

How to use the Master Program (needs to be updated and reviewed)

EtFlocSedFi is the driver of the automated design program and calls the functions that define the individual pieces of the plant, and the functions that write the scripts to draw the plant.

Instructions on how to edit the customized Design Specifications Document so that specific variables and fields are customized with each design can be found hereThe equations that make up the above algorithms can be found in following design equations page. The equations are divided into subcategories based on the algorithm that uses it.
