Spring 2014 Goals
In Fall 2013, I was enrolled in CEE 4540 and my team's capstone design project was to create general design algorithms for a flocculator retrofit. I also went to Honduras with this year's annual AguaClara transfer of knowledge and engineering in an international context trip.
In this Spring 2014 semester, I am a member of the design team and my subteam's goal is to create an error checking code that is entirely independent of the AguaClara design tool. The error checking code will ensure that the "Expert Inputs" used to provide each design is in agreement with current developments in AguaClara. In addition, an hydraulic grade line through the units of the plant will be generated for each design to ensure that all head losses are properly accounted for.
