Spring 2012 Contributions

For the spring of 2012, I will be putting my time into two main projects for the AguaClara team: researching Floc Recycle and fabricating a Low Flow Flocculator. For the start of the semester I will be tackling the task of researching the venturi effect that will theoretically allow old flocs to be transported from the sedimentation tank to combine with new flocs from the rapid mix pipe. Then, for the remaining of the semester, I will focus time into developing an efficient, low-cost and low-flow flocculator. This flocculator aims to  provide potable water for smaller Honduran communities!
