The town of Gracias will be the largest design completed my by the AguaClara team. Because of the large flow rate 1600gal/min, it was decided to build two plants to be constructed side by side, with each plant handling 800 gal/min. In order to create the smallest footprint for the plant, it was designed to have three sedimentation tanks and each tank will be 3 times the width of the lamella material. In past designs the sedimentation tank was designed to have a set width of the same as one sheet of lamella. The final details of the Gracias design is still under review, but the final design and drawings and explanations will be posted here upon completionMore details will be given as the design progresses.
