Spring 2017
This spring I will be working on the Arsenic Sensor team to research and develop a cost-effective way to detect arsenic in drinking water. Our sub team will be working closely with Professor Reid of CEE to build a photometer. I will also be advising the Design Team for the second time.
Fall 2016
This fall I will be picking up Cynthia's challenge from last spring to finish the AutoCAD designs for pieces of the plant not yet created as AutoCAD designs. I'll be coordinating with Ethan and Skylar in Honduras to find get any information on any pieces that need to be drafted in AutoCAD. In addition, I'll be helping my teammates with a collaboration project between AguaClara and AutoDesk to get the section cuts code completed.
Spring 2016
This spring I recently joined AguaClara's Design team. I'm currently going through the design team training to get acquainted with using and programming on Mathcad as well as refreshing my AutoCAD skills. I'm also learning about how the AguaClara design server works to give users an automated plant design in a short amount of time, and learning the codes used to guide that. Ultimately, I want to be able to use my training to help me tackle some of the challenges proposed for the Design team or perhaps help other team members complete the challenges they took on.
