Local Coordinate System

Bending moment and shear force are reported in the local coordinate system. To determine what the local coordinate system is for each element, highlight Solution in the tree and select Coordinate Systems > Element Triads.

Click Solve. The tabular data (lower right) gives the bending moment values at the beginning and end of the path. You can export the tabular data into an Excel file by right-clicking on it.
